We have an opportunity for an Experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Maryland-based Strike Team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to add very experienced Hospitalist nurse practitioners and physician assistants to our Travel Team to provide interim support where we have temporary needs. In consideration for this flexibility, Adfinitas offers above-market salary and a great benefits package, along with a guaranteed number of shifts per month.
This is a full-time position, 14 shifts per block, with a very competitive salary, benefits, and travel expense reimbursement.
As a member of the hospitalist team, you will provide inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge. Coordinate and develop a comprehensive and individual plan of care in collaboration with patient, family and multidisciplinary team. Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records. Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards. Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years as an advanced practice provider in an acute hospitalist program.
Current, active license in Maryland or Pennsylvania
MSN- graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, or Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.
Must have Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification, Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration
MUST currently reside in or near Maryland or Pennsylvania (reasonable driving distance to either state)
We are not able to consider candidates with less than 2 years of acute experience as an advanced provider.
STRIKE TEAM
Current practice sites include Maryland, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Virginia.
Most Strike Team providers work at the same site for a stretch of 2 months or more.
