Position Summary

We’re currently seeking full-time Podiatrist, for our growing practice. This is a unique opportunity to become a key member of a team of orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, physical therapists, and occupational therapists providing comprehensive care.

The position will include coverage in both our Torrington and Bristol office. Preferred candidates with orthopedic experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

Follows through with established treatment plan based on the physical therapist's evaluation results.
Develops and instructs patient and caregiver in home exercise programs and/or use of recommended equipment; provides verbal and/or written instructions as indicated.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, journal clubs, peer reviews, and reviewing professional publications.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
Complete chart audits on a bimonthly basis.
Communicate with physicians and staff on an ongoing basis regarding patient care and progress.
Experience:

Orthopedic: 1 year (Preferred)
Licenses:

American Broad of Foot & Ankle Surgery
