Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Apple Ridge Family Medicine is seeking a full-time, certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our independent practice in Gettysburg. In this role, you will be building relationships with patients over time by developing a comprehensive understanding of your patients' health, and offer insightful, personal guidance and treatment. We practice a broad-spectrum approach to primary care with the consideration of social determinants and community factors, while also serving as an advocate for the patient in an increasingly complex health care.

Clinical Details

• This position is responsible for providing medical services in the office under the supervision of a physician
• Provides care in our office with possibility of home visits for gravely ill patients
• The ideal candidate must be able to work independently
• Responsible for own patient panel
• Choice of four ten hour days or five eight hour days
• One Saturday per month
• Two weeks of on-call service per year

Professional Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
• Board certified
• Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years family practice experience
• ACLS certification
• Suboxone certified (helpful not required)
