Physician Assistant - Family Medicine

Join a hardworking patient and family-centered care team committed to customer service and high-quality care in the growing community of Jamestown, ND. Work collaboratively with 1 Pediatrician, 3 Family Medicine Physicians, 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians, 1 Internal Medicine Physician, 1 General Surgeon and 1 Psychologist in a beautiful, new facility that is connected to the new and easily accessible Jamestown Regional Medical Center. 0.8 - 1.0 FTE, full-time position. Hours are Mon-Fri between 8am-5pm; may include some walk-in coverage. Ability to provide healthcare for all ages. 14-18 patients per day. Patient base that is ready for growth. No outreach or inpatient coverage. Leadership qualities preferred. New graduates will be considered. EPIC electronic medical record. The Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, the PA works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. PAs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
