Physician Assistant Cardiovascular Surgery

An established group of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons in the Denver, Colorado area has an immediate need for an experienced Physician Assistant. Colorado licensure a plus.
Candidate should be a graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program and successfully completed the National Certification examination via the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
Other Requirements:
• Experience in vein harvesting
• The PA-C will manage patients in accordance with physician directives in an inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular and thoracic surgical setting to include providing pre, intra, and post-operative care
• PA-C must possess excellent clinical , surgical and organizational skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills
• Post-operative care in the ICU, CCU, and in the office along with rounding and taking call.
