PA / NP Endocrinology Specialty Dallas TX

Position Summary

The practitioner functions as a health care provider within the Endocrinology specialty services for the purpose of providing age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.

This position is open to Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-Cs) and or a Family Nurse Practitioner FNP).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The practice will involve care and management of patients in the Endocrinology outpatient specialty setting.
Care will include performing admission H & Ps, plan of care and day-to-day management of Endocrinology Services patients. Practitioner will manage (in collaboration with the attending) the entire outpatient course. Practitioner will initiate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers.
This position will require credentialing through our Medical Staff Services Department.
