| Description | Centra Healthcare System, an award winning regional healthcare and teaching system in Central Virginia, is recruiting an OB/GYN faculty for our Family Medicine Residency Program. We are seeking a MD/DO board certified, or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will possess superior clinical and interpersonal skills, and a passion for teaching. In this role, you’ll serve as a full-time faculty member in an established 9-9-9 residency program with an excellent faculty-to-resident ratio. The work schedule includes a combination of 40% resident clinical supervision, 30% direct clinical care, and 30% administration of resident education. Residency faculty maintain clinical appointments with University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Liberty University School of Osteopathic Medicine. The primary outpatient clinic is a 28,000-sq. ft. freestanding facility, specifically designed for the residency program. Physician Benefits Include:
