| Description | Sutter Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an established Interventional Radiology Practice in Sacramento, CA. The practice performs a high volume and wide range of procedures and has an active clinical practice. The applicant will work closely with a highly experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner to provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties include, history and physical examination, sedation assessment, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies and imaging, patient education and procedural consent, consultations with patients and medical team, longitudinal care of interventional oncology and other interventional radiology patients, inpatient rounding, performing procedures, such as, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fluoroscopic procedures such as central venous catheter placement. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter, who is eager and willing to learn, with a charismatic personality. Applicant must also be comfortable with Electronic Medical Records. A Fluoroscopy License is a plus. All candidates will be considered with the appropriate training and/or background. Applicant must be Nationally Certified and eligible for a California License.
