BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is not a recruitment firm; we are a physician-led medical group seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our well-established neurosurgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Our current team consists of two board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeons who specialize in treating all surgical cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve pathology with the most advanced neurosurgical procedures. We are actively recruiting a third surgeon and possibly a fourth in the future. The physicians are currently supported by two advanced care practitioners in the office, hospital and OR. Call responsibility shared evenly between the team. The surrounding community boasts a strong referral base, including the hospital’s medical staff of over 70 specialties in a 465-bed Level II trauma hospital. The candidate must have surgical first assist experience in an acute care setting and preferably two years of experience or training in neurosurgery.
