Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant

Raleigh Radiology is a physician owned private practice group serving the Raleigh area for over 60 years. We are a group of 40 Radiologists, including 6 Interventional Radiologists and 3 PAs working in both an office and hospital based setting. We are looking for a Physician Assistant with prior IR experience to join our continually growing practice. The successful candidate for this position will be hard working and willing to work in an ever-changing environment while striving to stay current and up to date with knowledge and procedural skills. Requirements

The position includes seeing patients in our IR clinic, performing complex inpatient consults, admitting and discharging IR patients, participating in daily rounds on inpatients, and performing office and hospital based procedures. Procedures include paracentesis and thoracentesis. Placing, exchanging and removing tunneled and non-tunneled central lines and port catheters. GU and GI catheter exchange and removal. Lumbar punctures. Image guided thyroid and lymph node biopsies. Arthrocentesis and joint injections under image guidance. As well as assist and perform additional procedures as directed by the Radiologist.
