Full-Time Opening for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Specializing in Bariatric Care - Danbury, Connecticut (70 miles from NYC)

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant specializing in Bariatric Care to join our Center for Weight Loss Surgery at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 70 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The APRN/PA will work collaboratively with the Bariatric team on pre and post op care for patients, acute visits, follow up with patients’ primary care providers, and long-term support/maintenance to ensure patient success. This is an excellent opportunity to work very independently within the Weight Loss Surgery Program. This is an office based position with Monday-Friday office hours.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Previous experience in bariatric care a plus.
