| Description | Rapidly growing Orthopedic group located in Orlando, FL has an immediate need for an experienced (5years+) EMG Technician. Only applicants with The American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine Certification will be considered. This is a busy, rapidly expanding Hand, Elbow and Shoulder- Upper Extremity practice. Currently 6 MD’s with expansion in 2020 to include 8 or 10 MD’s. Group offers excellent compensation commensurate with experience. Essential Functions: • EMG Technician is accountable for the administration of Electromyographic Tests. • Perform Nerve Conduction Studies (NSC) to measure muscle response and nerve conduction. • EMG Technicians prepare and perform (Neurological/Nerve Conduction) Needle Electromyography EMG. • Manage EMG Testing as needed/requested by Supervising Physician. • Apply electrodes on predetermined measured positions on the Patient, checking performance. |
