Description | Under general or direct supervision, per Iowa Dental Board rules, performs chairside duties in assistance and carries out all function which a dental assistant is legally certified to perform as delegated by the resident or faculty dentist. Performs responsibilities in an environment that includes faculty, grad and dental students.
Dental Assistant II – GC25 (Merit)
An advanced starting salary may be possible based on exceptional qualifications. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 1. Successful completion of an ADAA dental assistance program or two years of chairside assistant experience assisting in four-handed method of dentistry.
Applicants must have the following, by time of appointment: 1. Successful completion of ADAA-accredited dental assistant program or 24 full-time months chairside dental assisting experience in four-handed dental practice.
Desirable Qualifications: 1. Prosthodontic experience;
