The brand new, state-of-the-art, 192-bed MaineGeneral Medical Center at the Alfond Center for Health offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for the surrounding communities. We?re located just an hour north of Portland, Maine?s largest city, and three hours from Boston. Seeking experienced Physician Assistant for our Vascular service line which is an integral part of our overall Surgery Department. You will be working in our out-patient clinic, vein clinic, outpatient procedures, non operative consults and follow ups, post-operative appointments, in-patient rounding and discharging, patient education, quality data collection and preparation. Direct call for Dialysis Centers. Occasional call and weekend work required. You will work at both our Augusta Campus and at our Waterville Campus. Hyperbaric Medicine Training and Treatments on occasion. This position is 32 hours clinical and one administrative day per week. As part of the team you will provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive, and coordinated patient centered care for patients. Enhance patients? experiences with respect to quality, access, reliability and cost. Working with the patient care team to coordinate and integrate care across the healthcare system and community. BLS for Healthcare provider is required within 3 months of hire, and ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire. You will work under the direct supervision of our Vascular Medical Director, and will have the opportunity to gain/expand skill set in multiple surgical lines. the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
