Physician Assistant - NY

This position requires candidates to act as a first assist in all orthopedic cases with our Orthopedic Surgeon.

The Physician assistant position involves excellent patient care in the office with new and post op patients , impatient rounding, and being on call a few days in the month.

The PA duties will include but not limited to:
- Assisting surgeon in the OR
- Reading and interpreting radiological studies
- Splinting/ casting and injections
- Evaluating new patients
- Telephone contact with with patients

Our practice has two locations - one in West Islip, NY and the other in Hackensack, NJ.
We are a practice of one Surgeon and one NY PA.

Requirements:
Licensure/Certification
- current NY State licensure as a PA
- NJ State licensure preferred
- Current ACLS/BCLS
- Plastic experience is a plus.

- Surgical experience is preferred.
