You will work under the direction of Osteopathic Physicians and will go through our comprehensive training program.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



Analytical and detail-oriented problem solvers with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to help others are also essential to the success of the clinic.

Provide urgent medical care and injury treatment.

Perform routine physical exams and assessments.

Select, order, perform and interpret tests and other diagnostics to provide information on patient condition and augment physical findings.

Review, signoff, and take appropriate action for all incoming lab and diagnostic results, prescription requests, referrals and other required paperwork requests, and forms on a daily basis for all patients seen by self and all physician providers not on duty.

Comply with other general medical services as needed and required by clinic contracts and protocols including: occupational medicine, services such as DOT and non-DOT examinations, drug screenings, audiology assessments, exposure assessment, ergonomic consultations, and HAZMAT exams.

Analytical skills required to review diagnostic testing as well as causality to formulate a diagnosis for patients.


Requirements
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE



PA degree from accredited university.

Board certification or Board Eligibility from NCCPA and meet State, and federal licensure requirements.

Understanding medical coding and billing is a plus.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, Security, blood borne pathogens and prescribing and others.

BLS, CURES, DOT Medical Provider Certification.
