Description:
This position provides a unique opportunity for a seasoned and highly motivated clinical professional to work in a clinical capacity with Rainbow Babies and Children’s Pediatric Cardiac population.


Position Summary/Essential Duties:


Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and families

Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research

Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self

Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management

Qualifications:
Education/Expertise:
Master of Science in Nursing. Acute care pediatric nurse practitioner. Would consider primary care practitioner with an acute track.

Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum 1 year demonstrated competences as a licensed practitioner. Effective oral and written communication skills. Evidence of advanced training and expertise in a Pediatric ICU/Pediatric CTICU.

**Will consider New Grad NPs that have 5+ years of strong PICU and Pediatric CTICU experience as a licensed RN and that meet the education requirements.

Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):

Current Ohio Nursing license
Advance practice degree
Cert of Authority to Practice

Professional Certifications as required by specialty, additional certifications preferred.
