The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for:

Performing complete health histories, physical exams and interpreting the findings for Urodynamic patients.

Managing patients in the Voiding Improvement Program.

Planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment with an interdisciplinary team to include Physicians, NPs, Nurses and Clinical Psychologists.

Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings for complex patients.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and therapeutic interventions necessary to augment the patient’s physical findings and treatment plan.

Communicating clearly and concisely with the health care team and appropriately consulting and utilizing resources to meet the patient’s needs; writing/dictating notes, communicating to referring providers, as well as demonstrating proficiency with the electronic medical record, including meaningful use of knowledge.

Engaging in health teaching and counseling with the patient and their family in collaboration with the health care team.

Partaking in informal and formal teaching opportunities, conferences and presentations with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical assistants and staff nurses.

Working 40 hours/week Monday - Friday, both on the Main Boston campus with flexibility to work in satellite locations.

To qualify, you must have:

BSN/MSN in Nursing, or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.

Graduated from a certified Nurse Practitioner or PA program.

Authorization to practice as a PA or NP in Massachusetts.

1-3 years of experience as a PNP or PA.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The ability to work independently in an autonomous role.

Strong technology and computer skills.
