Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Transplant Institute, is seeking a Physician Assistant who is passionate about practicing in a collegial, friendly, faith-based environment alongside Transplant Surgeons, Hepatologists and Nephrologists.


This position involves In-patient responsibilities in an abdominal transplant unit with no call or nights. There is some coverage required during some weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities include:
Evaluation and management of pre/post kidney and liver transplant patients including evaluation of transplant candidacy for pre liver patients, care of pre liver transplant patients; post-transplant care of liver, kidney, and pancreas patients including postoperative management, wound care, immunosuppression management, infectious disease screening, and ongoing care of other medical comorbidities.


Weekly meetings may include liver and kidney selection committees, quality meetings, multidisciplinary care meetings, liver tumor board, and pathology conference.
